Tenant’s evidence: “The Appellant Tenant indicated that on 30 June she was told that she would have to be out of the dwelling by the following Friday 7 July. She indicated that when she told the Respondent Landlord that she would need to get proper notice he became aggressive and threatening. The Appellant Tenant stated that when she returned home that day she found a car blocking the driveway. She also indicated that it was only on that date that notice was emailed to her… She ended up living in her car for some time. She stated that she lost her job as a waitress in a local restaurant as she was homeless… She indicated that she was living in her car for approximately two months along with her pets and that she relied upon people in Roundwood to bring her food… She did not have an adequate place to live as a result of the failure of the Respondent Landlord to return her deposit the manner of the termination of the tenancy and the fact she was thus unable to secure a proper place to live or to retain employment.”
