Landlord's representative: "The Landlord’s representatives made a complaint about the condition of the property. It was submitted that “the furniture and appliances have been in constant repair during the whole tenancy. Handymen have been sent or special technicians. They suggested some issues had arisen attributable to “not using the appliances correctly”. Tenant's evidence: "The Tenants also complained that the Landlord was letting out portions of the property to AirBnB guests. This was not disputed... On 24 October 2022 the Tenants reported that they awoke to discover that all major appliances had been removed from the property and water and gas shut off... On 31 October 2022 at about 1pm the agents of the Respondent came to the dwelling. They escorted the Tenants to the kitchen which they were not permitted to leave. They gave evidence of three security staff being present. Meanwhile the Tenants gave evidence that they were aware other persons presumed to be agents of the Landlord were moving about the property entering their rooms and removing their belongings. The agents of the Respondent then locked the Tenants out of the Property and prevented them from re-entering."
