Landlord's evidence: "He said that on 26 November 2015 he contacted the Tenant and asked him for access to the dwelling to carry out repairs. He said his ladder accidentally hit off the key in the lock breaking it and that he had to change the lock because he could not leave the dwelling open". Tenant's evidence "He stated that on 26 November 2015 he consented to the Landlord accessing the dwelling to carry out repairs however when he returned to the dwelling from his night shift in the early hours of the morning on 27 November 2016 he could not gain access to the dwelling because the locks had been changed... The Tenant stated that his rights as a Tenant had been violated particularly in circumstances where the Landlord had issued him with a notice of termination giving him until 4 December 2015 to vacate the dwelling. He said that he was forced to live rough with no access to his clothes and nowhere to cook."
